LAHORE: On Monday, National Freelance Training Program (NFTP) is organizing a Graduation ceremony at the University of Education (UOE) Lahore to distribute certificates among the students who had completed the freelancing course offered by the NFTP. The Minister for HED & IT, Raja Yasir Humayun along with the Director-General e-Governance Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Latif Sajid, and Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board, Azfar Manzoor was also invited to this ceremony.
The Vice-chancellor of UE warmly welcomed the honorable guests with flowers. In the ceremony, all the guests and students expressed their views about this project and the impact of this course on the future of the youth of Pakistan.
Different students from the course shared their thoughts and experienced about this course. One of the students named Areeba Haroon explained her story and emphasized that more and more women should get into this field for the better and that anyone can do anything if they put effort into it. Another student, Zeeshan who is from the first batch talked about how his freelance journey started & how he has developed into a fine freelancer who won an international design competition.

Apart from the students, Minister for HED & I.T also shared his thoughts with the audience and said, “I feel honored to be associated with a program like this and he encouraged the youth to enroll in these programs for better job opportunities.
VC University of Lahore formally thanked all esteemed guests and graduating students for their presence and participation in this ceremony. He also emphasized that education should lead to personal and professional growth. He told that the university is adamant about projects developing the skills of enrolled students.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo of all the esteemed guests and dignitaries along with the graduated students.
The Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MoITT) has the vision to provide Freelancing Training to empower the youth of the nation. In order to bring this vision to verity, a comprehensive National Freelancing Training Program (NFTP) has been designed which provides contemporary training to aspiring freelancers across all provinces of Pakistan.
