PTA explained the Reason for slow Internet Speed in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the authority of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) explained the causes for the slow internet speed in Pakistan. According to the PTA, internet users in some parts of the country faced disruptions due to a fault in the underwater internet cables yesterday.

 the authorities of PTA said that a submarine cable fault was reported yesterday near Fujairah, UAE due to which some users may have faced degradation in services. The faulty cable segment has been repaired and work is underway to make the services fully functional.

The PTA through the official Twitter platform informed the users that the affected cable had been repaired and work is underway to make the services fully operational. The authority further explained that they already monitoring the situation and would keep consumers informed.
