The dates were decided in the meeting conducted by PBCC on 22 October. The delay in the declaration of the results is due to the approval of the promotion policy by the cabinet of Punjab. According to the promotion policy, all the students who are unable to get passing marks will receive 33 percent grace marks by the board this year.

Last week on Friday, The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced the results of Intermediate part-I all across Punjab. The students who appeared in the intermediate part-I results can check their results on the websites of their respective boards or by sending their roll number through SMS on the number allocated by their respective boards today.
